How is a patient evaluated prior to a sleep dentistry procedure?
Every patient will have a preliminary consultation prior to any treatment with sedation or anaesthesia.
During the consultation a thorough evaluation will be performed and pre- and post-treatment instructions will be provided in writing to the patient, and in the case of children, to the guardian. The patient or guardian also provides written consent. This allows Dr. Sherghin and his team to answer any questions, prepare for specific needs or recommendations and review the patient’s medical history.
